BORNEO & THE RAINFOREST WORLD MUSIC FESTIVAL 2010
 For the second year
running, The Adventure Traveller in conjunction with Gecko’s Adventures are
running a special tour to coincide with the annual Rainforest World Music
Festival (http://www.rainforestmusic-borneo.com/)
in Borneo.
The 3-day
Rainforest World Music Festival is a unique event which brings together renowned
world music artists from all over the globe, as well as indigenous musicians
from the interiors of the mythical island of Borneo. You will have the
opportunity to participate in informative workshops, lectures and jam sessions
and enjoy the evening performances in the midst of the lush, tropical jungle!
The itinerary for
this 18-day Geckos tour was constructed by Devin from The Adventure Traveller
and includes many other highlights of Borneo too. You’ll trek the ancient
Headhunter’s Trail, explore the massive cave systems of Gunung Mulu National
Park and visit the orangu-tan’s at the Semmenggoh Rehabilitiion
Centre.
This tour has only
one departure date of 26 June 2010 and costs $2930.00 plus $440.00 for the internal
flights (Kota Kinabalu-Lahad Datu-Kota
