DAY 1 – ARRIVAL AT LEH

Leh Alt. – 11500 Ft

Say hello to the best adventure with a flight to Leh. Our representative /driver will pick you up from the Airport (in groups) and later take you to the hotel. After checking in at the hotel, take the day to acclimatise – minimum movement, 3.5 ltr water, and complete rest are the principles to avoid AMS. We will meet in the evening for an orientation followed by Bike allocation. Take a spin on the Bike and notify the issue that needs a fix. Overnight stay at the Leh City.

DAY 2 – LEH – LAMAYURU

Leh Altitude – 11500 Ft Lamayuru Alt. – 11520 Ft

You will start the day with a sumptuous breakfast. Verify if your luggage has been placed well in the backup vehicle. We will leave the lush green valley riding on the beautiful NH1. We will visit Magnetic Hill, the Zanskar-Indus River confluence, and Gurudawara Patthar Sahib. Don’t miss the scenic Moonland of Ladakh. You can see the monastery after you have reached Lamayuru. Overnight at Lamayuru.

DAY 3 – LAMAYURU – SHINGE LA – PADUM

Lamayuru Alt. – 11520 Ft Padum Alt. – 12037 Ft

This riding day is super exciting and adventurous. After a short ride on the paved roads to Wanla, it will change to earthen roads. Enjoy the dust. While you ride to Sirsir La (15700 Ft), enjoy cruising on the Kankar and gravel roads. Take a snap at the top and move on to Photoksar for Lunch. You will be delighted to see the dirt road to Singe La (16590 Ft) with continuous downhill (Use your brakes wisely). After you cross Murgum La (15490 ft), the ride will get to the next level of adventure riding on the extreme edge of the mountain along the Zanskar River. The route is full of surprises and river crossings (not water-crossing). The offroading is close to God’s level. After you cross the checkpoint at Zangla, you will enjoy the smooth road to Padum.

DAY 4 – PADUM LOCAL – PURNE

Padum Alt. – 12037 Ft Purne Alt. – 12150 Ft

You will explore the signature places of Padum. Visit the beautiful Sani Lake and the Monastery (Find the hidden monastery in the mountain). We will leave the beautiful town with some paved roads to Reru and later continue with our dirt trail ride. We will ride on a narrow mountain ledge. We will continue on the gravel roads with steep inclines and declines. The best part will meet you just before you reach Purne. Enjoy the knee-deep sand, rubble, and stones. Overnight at a homestay with minimal amenities by the Tsarap River.

DAY 5 – PHUKTAL MONASTERY TREK

Phuktal Alt. – 12631 Ft

After breakfast, we will leave for Phuktal Gompa, the largest Gompa in Zanskar. It is your turn to visit the most isolated monasteries. The 4 km trek takes a full day to explore (If you are not in a trekker-level fitness, please stay and relax at the homestay). Follow the footprints on the edge of the mountain, cross a river bridge, and get captivated by the beauty of the river. After reaching there, read scriptures and meditate with the monks. Don’t forget to see the mythological tree. We will make a return journey before sunset. Overnight stay at Purne Homestay.

DAY 6 – PURNE – SHINKU LA – JISPA

Purne Alt. – 12150 Ft Jispa Alt. – 10500 Ft

After a relaxing day, we will move ahead to this tour’s most extreme riding day. The deadliest road has no paved section till you enter Himachal. There are many River crossings, mud, slush and stones. Ride on the gravel road to Khargiak to encounter first among the many river crossings. Get photographed at the holy Gombo Rongjon. Beyond this, keep counting river crossings on the offroad trail ascending to the Shinku La pass (16580 Ft). The lake at the top makes the ride worth the pain. We will ride smoothly to the Jispa in Himachal Pradesh. Overnight stay in the valley.

DAY 7 – JISPA – SARCHU – TSOKAR

Jispa Alt. – 10500 Ft Tso Kar Alt. – 14860 Ft

We need to start very early today. It’s a long day. First, visit the world’s highest post office at Hikkim & send a postcard to the loved ones (which might reach them in the next three months). Later, we will visit the highest village connected to a motorable road – Komic at 15027 ft. Afterward, we will head to meet Buddha at Langza, looking into the mesmerising valley and smiling at you. Try ginger lemon tea with almonds and apricot at a nearby cafe. Towards the end of the day, pay a visit to the Key Monastery & imbibe the prayer hymns in you. Overnight stay at Kaza.

DAY 8 – TSOKAR – HANLE

Tso Kar Alt. – 14860 Ft Hanle Alt. – 14100 Ft

We will leave the multi-coloured Kar Lake and head to the Changthang plateau. We will cross Pologongka La to reach Sumdo on the half-baked roads. We will take a left to Changthang for Lunch. We will ride to Loma. You will cross the Indus river to reach the signature and hypnotising single-lane road to Hanle. Enjoy the evening in one of the remotest villages. Overnight stay in Homestay.

DAY 9 – HANLE – UMLING LA – HANLE

Hanle Alt. – 14100 Ft Umling La Alt. – 19300 Ft

You will ride on the highest motorable road in the world. Among the multiple routes available to reach Umling La, we will take the route in the best condition or the open one. All of these will get you to the Chisumle Bridge. Beyond the bridge, ride along the Kingdul River, ascending higher on the Chismule-Demchok road. Unlike other high mountain passes, you will not find a deep valley. Take a proud photo at the top of the world at 19300 ft. Later, have a hot tea at Oxygen Cafe. We will head back to the homestay

DAY 10 – HANLE – LEH

Hanle Alt. 14100 Ft Leh Alt. – 11500 Ft

This shall be our last day of riding our machines. We will ride on the seductive road of the barren lands. To see a herd of Kiang along the road is not uncommon in this part of Ladakh. You will certainly enjoy the scenic panorama. Until Loma, the road turns broken when you start riding along the Indus River. We will have lunch at Chumathang. Shortly after, the roads are in fantastic condition. You will reach Leh in no time. Overnight at Leh Hotel.

DAY 11 – DEPARTURE FROM LEH
